How long is each flight at Ifly? ›

We replicate the skydiving experience and offer flights which are about 1½ times longer than a tandem jump. So each flight is around 60 seconds, often a bit longer but never shorter than 50 seconds. A double flight is about 120 seconds long.

If you're looking for a fun experience that gives you a glimpse of what it feels like to fall through the skies – indoor skydiving is absolutely worth it!

Fly Up & Down

To change your level inside the tunnel, you'll practice adjusting the arch in your body and extending your arms and legs. Slight movements in your body such as these will allow you to move up and down.

Tips are always encouraged, though not required. The amount is totally dependent on your feelings post-experience.

Jeans don't work because they're too confining and they don't stretch. Any clothing with ornaments – strings, beads, rhinestones, grommets, etc.

Is it difficult to breathe in the wind tunnel? No, it's just like breathing normally actually…..so there is no specialist breathing equipment required. Just relax and breathing will come naturally.

Bumps, bruises, and some soreness are the most common risks associated with indoor skydiving – and of course, addiction to the world of tunnel flying!

Another group of people who may want to avoid indoor skydiving is those with recent shoulder and back injuries. The shoulders and back need to be able to support an individual's weight during the flight. Those with heart conditions should consult with their doctor before going indoor skydiving.

Why is indoor skydiving so short? It's actually not short at all. The freefall portion in outdoor skydiving usually lasts 45 to 60 seconds. Most first-timer wind tunnel flights are broken up into two one-minute flights which, when compared to outdoor skydiving, is more than double the freefall time!

Indoor skydiving might appear to be easy at face value, especially when you watch the pros flow around the tunnel – but in actuality, it is not easy at all! There's a lot more to skydiving than goes into indoor skydiving.

What Is The Indoor Skydiving Weight Limit? Here at ParacleteXP, our indoor skydiving weight limit is 250 lbs. And most frequently asked follow-up question: Is there a weight limit for skydiving from a plane? Our weight limit for skydiving (for real, for real) is 230 to 250 lbs.

A typical skydive lasts five to six minutes, with approximately 50 seconds of that spent in freefall and four to five minutes on the parachute ride down. How long a skydive lasts is dependent on various factors, including altitude, weight and equipment used.

You'll be asked to remove ALL loose items ( watches / rings / jewellery, etc ) and will be provided with flight suit, helmet & goggles. You'll also be offered earplugs before flying.

Including pre-flight briefing and post experience debrief, visitors will be in the iFly area for approx. 60 minutes. The actual time in the tunnel is equal to at least two full skydiving experiences.

In the tunnel, one flight yields 60 seconds of freefall time. You can make the equivalent of 10 jumps in 10 minutes! For the most part, indoor skydiving eliminates weather as a factor. This means you can fly even when it's windy, raining, or snowing outside!

Indoor skydiving is not much different. Each flight is only a minute because it is physically taxing! Your body is not used to what you will be requesting from it, and so, it is best to start slow. In the tunnel, you will be flying your body lying flat on your belly.
